Library hours this ho-ho-holiday season

What does a cat have to do with library hours? Nothing really, it's just super cute!

Even though semester’s over, we know you still love to utilise our lovely library spaces – air con, study areas, computers, books, and of course, bean bags.

Recline in a squishy bean bag with a laptop or mobile device and enjoy cool, climate-controlled surroundings. Or you can swelter in the 30°+ heat. Totally up to you!

One super awesome thing about our library spaces is they remain open during summer vacay. Well, for most of the time anyway.

We will be taking a teeny tiny break to relax, unwind and read books (because that’s what librarians do, right? Or so goes the stereotype).

Griffith University libraries will officially close from 3pm Friday 23 December 2016, and will re-open on Tuesday 3 January 2017.

You can access the full 2016-2017 summer break library hours here. And don’t forget our library’s digital resources are accessible online 24/7, 365 days of the year!  On Sunday, 18 December, all libraries will be closed for maintenance – including online services.

Whatever occasion you may be celebrating this holiday season (even if it is simply celebrating Australia’s tendency to celebrate heaps of public holidays), we hope you enjoy yourselves.

We look forward to seeing you in 2017 when we begin our journey into the wonderful world of trimesters!
