Solve the world’s problems and win US$1 million!

Can we build sustainable, scalable social enterprises that restore the rights and dignity of 10 million refugees by 2022?

Well, that depends on you.

Former President of the United States, Bill Clinton is asking university students around the world for their innovative solutions to the global refugee problem.

And he’s putting his money where his mouth his. Simply, devise the best social enterprise solution and you’ll score a sweet US$1 million for you and your team mates.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves. There’s a few things you need to know before booking your plane ticket to receive your cash prize from the former president.

First things first. What are you actually entering? It’s called the Hult Prize, President’s Challenge. It’s an annual challenge organised by the Hult Prize Foundation.

With a different focus each year, this year’s challenge is Refugees – Reawakening Human Potential and Restoring the Dignity of 10M People by 2022.

You can download the 2017 President’s Challenge here. Authored by the Hult Prize Foundation, in close collaboration with Bill Clinton and his team, it’s your guiding document to constructing your social venture.

How do you enter? Well, Griffith University is hosting the HultPrize@Griffith Competition in December. Think of it as the first round in your quest to win a million. Register your team to compete at the HultPrize@Griffith by 25 November 2016.
