Do you need to rescue your resume?Posted: September 12, 2016
Does your resume need a bit of resuscitating, refreshing or reviving?
Bring your resume along to the Resume Rescue ‘pop-up’ at the Nathan and Gold Coast campus this month and receive a quick review by a trained Career Leader.
Career specialists will give your resume a check-up and provide practical advice to get you up and running. With lots of tips, hints and hand-outs available on the spot, you’ll be a resume whiz in no time.
Your resume is an important tool in the job application process to help market yourself to employers.
While it is not the be all and end all (things like cover letters, networking and making contact with employers are arguably more important), it is essential for providing a potential employer a snapshot of your past experiences tailored to their needs.
Can’t pop by a ‘pop-up’? Check out the Careers and Employment Resumes page for helpful links, videos, sample resumes and other job hunting goodies.
