NAIDOC Week 3-10 July

16-NAIDOC-logo-stackedSunday marks the beginning of NAIDOC Week.

For those of you unfamiliar with this special week in Australian culture, this week we celebrate the culture of our First People.  NAIDOC originally stood for National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee but we have since moved from a single to a whole week and the name was chosen to represent the spirit of the week.

NAIDOC Week is held from the first to second Sunday in July and the 2016 theme is Songlines: The living narrative of our nation.
