Ready, set, go!Posted: May 27, 2016
The annual Griffith Sport Logan Fun Run is on this Sunday and we’re just making sure you are ready and raring to go.
If you are participating in the Junior Dash, 5km or 10km run, there are things you need to know. And we know all the things (because we checked the Griffith Sport Logan Fun Run page).
So you’ll need to collect your Race Pack prior to your event. If you are an eager beaver, you can collect your Pack on Saturday. Just head to the Sports Pavilion at the Logan Campus Fields between 10am and 5pm.
Otherwise (for us regular people), just turn up to the Race Pack Collection tent at the crack of dawn (5:30am – 6:30am) on Sunday morn. Actually to be fair, it’s not the crack of dawn. It’s probably still dark so it will be before the crack of dawn. Or in plain speak – it will be night time people!
But a late night/early morning run never hurt anyone, right? Especially those of us who are keen to pull on our running shoes for charity. And we’ll be sure to run that little bit faster in support of our official charity partner, the AEIOU Foundation.
Have you been worrying about parking for the event? Well, let me ease your concerns. There will be free parking for all participants and spectators at the Queensland Health car park. It will be open for the entire event, so you can come and go as you please.
If public transport is your jam, then we also have the bus situation sorted for you. A temporary bus stop for Route 560 will be located on University Drive.
If you need any further information about the Logan Fun Run, be sure to check out the Griffith Sport Logan Fun Run pages. They contain super helpful info about bag drops, road closures, event schedules and everything else you may like to know.
Whether you are a runner, walker or just looking for a family day out, head to the Logan Campus this Sunday 29 May 2016.
