How to easily achieve your #goalsPosted: May 17, 2016
Are you struggling to achieve #relationshipgoals, #squadgoals, #bodygoals or even #hairgoals because you can’t seem to find time for your significant other, BFF’s, weekly gym sesh or hair appointment?
With all your lectures, tutes, pracs, oral presentations, group projects, and essays, it’s tough to schedule in time for the things you actually want to do (like napping between classes on Tuesday afternoon!).
So how do you find the time? Put appointments in a calendar? Snore! Isn’t a calendar just a depressing reminder of the things you didn’t do?
Actually no. Not anymore… The ingenious folk at Google recently introduced a new feature to Google Calendar called Goals (or should that be #goals?).
You just add a personal goal – like ‘go hiking with Tyler twice a week’ or ‘have coffee with Madison once a month’ and Calendar will help you find the time to do it.
Once you set a goal, Calendar looks at your schedule to find the best time for it and will ‘automatically reschedule if you add another event that’s a direct conflict with a goal (yep, Friday night drinks just bumped that run!).
‘You can also defer a goal at any time, and Calendar will make time for it later’ (Find time for your goals with Google Calendar, 2016).
