New year, new look for law database

Westlaw international

Listen up law students – Your favourite law database will be looking a little different in 2016.

The beginning of a new year is a great opportunity for an update and Westlaw International law database agrees. We can now confirm beyond reasonable doubt that from 31 December the popular database will opt for a new name and will become WestlawNext. But we promise there will be no objections and you’ll love the resource more than ever.

The database is powered by WestSearch and has a universal search box that enables access to content from US, UK, European, Canadian and some Asian jurisdictions. It also has natural language searching, jurisdiction searching, and 12 different content settings (e.g. cases, statutes, etc). Users can also set up a OnePass account for access to features such as, saved searches, alerts, folder systems, document mark ups, search history and highlighting.

For more information, visit the WestlawNext training, support and help page. To search the database visit the Library catalogue.
