1000 Paper Cranes – UpdatePosted: October 7, 2015
For the month of September, you could make paper cranes at the QCA, QCGU and Mt Gravatt Libraries to bring awareness to childhood cancer.
The cranes that were made by visitors to the library was donated to the Lady Cilento Hospital in Brisbane.
The 1000 Cranes is a Japanese legend which says that a wish will be granted to someone who makes 1000 origami paper cranes.
The Children’s Health Qld facebook site has a video with the children accepting paper cranes.
