Music in the Library Series 2016 – a taste!

The 2016 Music in the Library Series is an exciting innovation to enliven the campus library spaces and to showcase the extraordinary talent found at the Queensland Conservatorium-Griffith University (QCGU).  In seeking greater engagement with our Campus and external communities, Library and Learning Services is pleased to be able to invite staff and student musicians from the Con into all campus libraries through this 2016 series of musical events.

In anticipation of the 2016 series, and in launching the LOVEMYLIBRARY campaign, as well as celebrating the impact and value of the campus libraries to the scholarly community, we are very excited to welcome a brass trio from the Con, led by horn player, Mr Peter Luff, Deputy Director, Performance and Engagement QCGU.  Peter will be accompanied  by Mr Greg Aitken, Head of Brass at the Con on trumpet, and Mr Will Foster, a BMus trumpet student at the Con who will play a 20 minute selection of works by Poulenc, Nelhybel and Haydn.
