Using government reports as a source of information?

Recently, the Department of Treasury (Australia) issued the Intergenerational Report 2015 which projects the long term future challenges and opportunities in economic growth faced by Australia over the next 40 years. It is an interesting read and a valuable source of information in areas such as population, participation and productivity. Government reports are a great source of information. You may also wish to consider other sources of information such as peer reviewed journal articles for your assessment. Not sure what peer reviewed is or how to search the library catalogue? For help with researching and referencing, book a consultation with one of an Information Literacy Librarian.
