Crime Prevention in Logan – FREE Event

Following on from the successful Crime on the Gold Coast event, Friends of the Library, Griffith University is hosting the sequel Crime Prevention in Logan: strategies for small business on 28 August.

A panel of leading criminologists and industry experts will reveal the facts about Crime in Logan and provide helpful expert tips to help deal with and prevent crime.

Presenters include:

  • Associate Professor Janet Ransley, Head of School, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Griffith University
  • Senior Sergeant Mike Pearson, Officer in Charge, Logan Central Police Station
  • Dr Hennessey Hayes, Senior Lecturer, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Griffith University
  • Mr Mark Lally, Regional Manager, Bendigo Bank

Following the presentation, tea/coffee will be served and guests seeking extra helpful advice will have the opportunity to talk to relevant community organisations located in the foyer. This event is free to attend but registrations are essential. Register here.
