Masters and Slaves is back for another year!

Masters and Slaves FOL web Banner-01

  • Are you a literary buff? Ever wondered what Elizabeth Gilbert, Dr Seuss, Enid Blyton, Hunter S Thompson, John Hughes & Chuck Palahnuick have in common? On the Gold Coast campus next week? Sick of all these incessant questions?

Students from the School of Humanities Griffith University will duel with their literary heroes in a live theatre in the round style battle for supremacy. Ashleigh Watson takes on Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love, Dean Barker wrestles with Dr Zeus, Diana Brown relives an Enid Blyton childhood, Paige Townsend takes on famous literary rogue Hunter S Thompson, Simon Jun wonders why John Hughes held all our sixteen candles and Jordan Lawrence pens an homage to Chuck Palahniuck. See who’ll take it out as the pets go to battle with their masters!

You can view pictures of last year’s event on the Griffith facebook page to see just how much fun was had by all.
