Have you met our wonderful Learning Advisers?

  • Semester 1 is in full swing! It’s the perfect time to develop your academic skills.

A few weeks ago we told you about the Earlybird Workshops that were running, and while we’re sure that you signed up for most of them, you’ve got another ace up your sleeve when it comes to your academic preparation – Griffith’s Learning Advisers!

Think of Learning Advisers like your personal University Yodas, without the backwards speak and monk-like robes. They all have a freaky amount of knowledge surrounding academic skills and can help you with things like assignment structure, argument development, exam preparation and time management. Different to an open workshop, Learning Advisers will meet with you one-on-one in a 20 minute session, giving you the ability to wisely tailor that time to your personal needs. They are available at every campus and run sessions throughout every semester. You can even email your questions and/or your assignment through to them and they will provide feedback. How awesome is that?!

So what are you waiting for? Use your academic ace!

You can find out more about Learning Advisers through the Library Workshops and Training website.
