Griffith IT 2020 Strategy Competition – Win a 16 GB Google Nexus 7!

We have been overwhelmed with responses, thanks to everyone who submitted an entry. This competition is now closed and the judging is underway.

Want to Win a 16 GB Google Nexus 7?

Griffith is putting together an IT 2020 Strategy that will look at the future of information and communication technologies and how these might innovate and enhance the Griffith student experience as we move toward 2020.

In that spirit, Griffith would love your input. We want to hear your answers to this question (or questions!) in 500 words or less:

If you stepped through a doorway into 2020 what do you think your life as a student at Griffith University would be like? How would you expect to be studying?  What will the student experience be like? What technology would you expect to be using?

Your answers will provide us with fantastic input into charting our future IT directions for Griffith.

The person with the most inspired, creative answer will win a 16 GB Google Nexus 7 Tablet (RRP $299).

Please submit your answers with your contact details, including your s number, course and year, to Jennie Hardware – Answers must be received by Friday 10 August 2012.  The winner will be notified by Thursday 30 August 2012.

We will also be running IT 2020 Strategy focus groups, with $25 Coles Myer gift vouchers up for grabs just for participating! Want in? Look out for our post about the focus groups this week!

*Edit 2 August 2012 – Hey guys, just to let you know, we will be publishing some of the answers from the competition anonymously once we’ve received them all, so by entering, we’ll take that as your consent for us to do so! Good luck!

I would be studying at home with a virtual classroom. All IT connected. All students at home connected into the UNI for lectures.
