Masters and Slaves – The Pets BattlePosted: April 23, 2012
The Small Roomers will take on the momentous swathe of the literary canon, writing performance style pieces in response to the literary greats.
Is it possible for a world weary ex-con to be shocked by the Marquis De Sade? How does a young poetess from Surfers Paradise deal with her lyrical love affair with Springsteen? Can a young gay man see his reflection in Dorian Grey? Can a young woman from the Bayside really write a Kerouac inspired haiku to a hard core backing track?
Comic, inspired and challenging, see the Small Room Writers Collective push the envelope on the question of, who exactly are the creative writing masters, and who are the slaves?
